Former Democratic Councilman Henry Davis Jr. stood alongside members of the St. Joseph County Republican Party outside the Juvenile Justice Center in a show of unity, as they collectively called for justice for the late Isaiah Walton-Davis.
Members of the GOP announced that they raised $3,500 to contribute to the funeral expenses for Isaiah Walton-Davis. Additionally, both Henry and the GOP called for the resignation of Judge Jason Cichowicz, citing inadequate leadership and unsuccessful policies as their reasons.

Judge Jason Cichowicz initiated legal action regarding a term used by former Councilman Henry Davis Jr. to characterize a scenario in which Judge Cichowicz, while legally representing a client, ended the attorney-client relationship significantly enriched and subsequently faced suspension by the Indiana Supreme Court due to unethical conduct.
